A gas-loading system, depicted in the figure, is intended for loading gases in diamond anvil cells. To operate the system a gas compressor with capacity up to 2 kilobars* must be used. Operation procedure is very simple. A diamond anvil cell is placed inside the high-pressure vessel (1) and selected gas is pumped in. Then at rotation of the pivot (5) the screw (3) squeezes diamonds into the gasket, sealing the gas inside the gasket. After that pressure can be released and a diamond anvil cell attached to the plug (4) can be taken out of the vessel. After tightening the bolts (2) the cell can be removed from the plug.

Dimensions: Diameter 140 mm, Length 250

Weight: 40 kg

*laboratory type membrane compressor up to 2 kilobar available for instance from Newport Corp. Maryland, USA

We are ready to adjust details of the system to satisfy your specific requirements in respect to dimensions and design of any kind diamond anvil cells.
